A Month in Pictures...

It snowed a lot here one day.  While Isis went sledding and rolling and tumbling and wrestling, Eliza sat on her snow throne for forty minutes eating the snow around her.  She doesn't like to move in the snow, but she does like to be among it. Then we all made this snow man and topped it with the Eagles hat.  Then Eliza ate the snowman.

The girls perfecting their string skills on Mommy's guitar and a ukulele with three strings

Eliza busting out some Creedence.  Seriously.

While we planted our garden, the girls soaked up some sun and outside shenanigans.  Good thing. Our seeds are now blanketed under 6 inches of yet another snow.

Isis shows Eliza how farm girls go pee...

Then puts her diaper back on....notice how Eliza is pantless with snow boots lurking in the background.  Notice how we don't care.  Notice how the garden is getting planted and Isis is in charge.

Is there anyplace better to be than a freshly tilled garden?  No, the answer is no.  Not if you are two and five.

Love.

And back inside on a snowy day, Eliza initiates a game of hide and seek.  She hides in one place, three times in a row.  Thus the photo op.

I am so ready for spring I could cry. I thought it was here and then gone with snow yesterday. What did you plant this year? I love that Isis is taking care of her little sis. I notice Eliza has the ol' pacifier in during garden time. It probably fell out a billion times and she sucked on it. Mmmmm. Yummy nutrients. You are a good mom. A great gardener. And a fantastic blogger/photography. I need some prego pics taken. Can you come out? Each month?
