Car Tunes

We can thank Pop-Pop for this one...I think I was around eight years old when I realized how wonderful Creedence Clearwater Revival was. Isis was around three when she started busting out the lyrics to Cotton Fields.  Eliza is two. It seems lately every single time we enter the car Eliza immediately throws a shout out for some CCR.  When I put it in she demands to hear one of her two favorite songs.  And when I obligingly put that song on, she yells "Up!"  When I turn it up she yells, "Up!"  That kid digs some loud tunes.  Then she dances as much as one can dance in a five point harness.

Today I decided to turn the song up and up and up before she even had a chance to ask for it.  She looked at me and said, "Woah."

Last week we were on our way to drop Isis off at school.  It was around 8:10 a.m. Eliza had requested Molina that particular morning. And every morning prior for the previous five weeks.  So off we went on a cold winter morning, bundled in our hats and coats, watching Eliza dance.  Dancing becomes a bit contagious when the music is loud and a toddler is leading the dance floor.  So I started to sing with her and then I danced too.  Isis was not amused.  I laughed and asked her if she wanted me to dance when I dropped her off at school.  She responded quickly and without expression...I hope this song is over before we get there.
